Cavalry Associates is seeking to fill 3 Junior project manager positions with passionate career-minded professionals who are team players capable of contributing to a great group dynamic.

Cavalry Associates is an industry leader providing expediting services, and navigating city agencies on behalf of developers, builders, architects, engineers, property owners and other building professionals.
- Learn NYC real estate development field from the ground up. Including DOB and other municipal agency procedures and protocols on filing, approving, permitting, and obtaining signoffs on construction projects.
- Develop an understanding of the underlying planning and strategies of a project from conception to sign off, including risk assessment and follow-through
- Communicate and coordinate between the internal project and design teams, clients and their contractors, and city agencies, through email, phone, Plan Examinations, and in-person meetings. Organize and document all notes and observations from communications. Build a solid relationship with clients and others.
- Develop critical thinking skills by recording project requirements and transforming them into actionable items with senior staff.
- Become comfortable with Cavalry’s Project Management Software which tracks and manages all open and pending projects.
- Report directly to a Project Manager who will delegate items to you on open projects and manage open questions and trainings as needed.
- Interest in NYC real estate development is preferred, and any relevant experience is a major plus.

- Organize client meetings and document all notes and observations

- Develop a strong and reliable communication line with the respective client
- Become comfortable with Cavalry’s Project Management Software
- Utilize and navigate NYC’s DOB system, including filings and approvals, violations management, permitting and signoffs, etc.
- Develop an understanding of the underlying planning and strategies of a project from conception to sign off, including risk assessment and follow-through

Salary Range:
$20-25/Hour*
*Depending on relevant experience, skills
